1. The service

A1000 lets you scan a physical notebook’s QR code, log its approximate location on a map, leave notes and photos, and chat with other holders of the same book. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. What you post

You keep ownership of the notes, photos and messages you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them on A1000. You promise that what you post:

• doesn’t break the law,
• doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights,
• isn’t hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or spam,
• doesn’t reveal another person’s private information.

We may remove content or accounts that break these rules. You can delete your own posts at any time.

4. Location data

Location is always fuzzed to roughly 400m before being stored. Don’t rely on A1000 for any purpose where exact location accuracy matters.

5. No warranty

A1000 is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or that the site will be free of bugs. To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of A1000.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the last change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
